Bengaluru Café, Jayanagar is one of those places where the food truly speaks for itself. If you love simple, authentic Karnataka classics, this place is absolutely worth vouching for. From the dosas to the filter coffee, everything tastes fresh, comforting, and consistently good — no unnecessary frills, just solid food done right. The highlight here is definitely the food quality. It’s the kind of place locals keep coming back to because the flavours feel familiar and reliable. That said, be prepared: it gets very, very crowded on weekends, with long waiting times during peak hours. Also, make sure to check the timings before you go, as they’re quite strict and the place can close earlier than expected. Overall, a must-visit for classic South Indian food lovers — just plan your visit smartly to avoid the rush.

If you like your dosa the right amount of crispy and buttery, Bengaluru Cafe is the place to be. At just 80/- you’ll get the best best Butter Masala Dosa served with a chutney that is nostalgia in it’s core. As a Bengali girl, who has only eaten dosa outside the South, Bengaluru Dosa is officially one of the dosa places I will be coming back to. Note: This is an open canteen/cafe with no proper seating benches except one on the side (maximum capacity 5). However, they have standing areas to eat and a long long line, so make sure you’re here for the wait as much as you are for the great food and hype :)

I recently visited Bengaluru Café in Jayanagar and absolutely loved the experience. I ordered idli, vade, and masala dose. The dose was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, generously drenched in ghee. The aloo palya and chutney took it to another level—pure heaven. The idlis were incredibly soft, and the vade was beautifully crunchy on the outside while staying soft inside. To top it all off, the filter coffee was outstanding. I’d definitely rate this place as a go-to spot when you’re craving a rich, ghee-filled masala dose once in a while

Great dosas here—one of the best I've tried, super crispy with awesome flavor. The vadas were just as good, perfectly crunchy. Everything else we had was tasty too. Place was crowded but service was quick, and prices are really fair for the quality. 5 stars!

Loved this place. Very well spaced and mannered. They have a token system too to go pick up food which avoids unnecessary queues. Their Vada and idly was sent from heaven . Chutney with OMG !!! Kesari bath had a done of pineapple pieces and with the perfect sweetness made it best. To end with the benne masala dosa with crispy as hell and went so perfectly with their chutney.. Coffee is from Cothas and their OG too. Must go when in JP Nagar

It is a very small, crowded with hardly any sitting available place but it serve a great south indian food. From the limited options available have tried benne masala dosa, idli, vada, bhajji and coffee. The constituency and the taste of chutny is the best though bhajji was of utter disappointment when it comes to taste. Coffee is good but in my experience coffee of Umesh dosa point (next to cafe) was a little better. Dosas were crisp and nice.
